About
I’m a health services researcher working at the intersection of health equity, policy, and gender justice. Right now, I’m completing my PhD at Brown University, where my research focuses on the health care experiences and outcomes of transgender, nonbinary, and intersex people—especially within Medicaid and Medicare.
I use quantitative methods, large administrative datasets, and policy analysis to understand how health systems reinforce or repair inequity. My work has examined chronic disease care, mental health utilization, HIV treatment, and emergency department use among trans and intersex populations—often in contexts where data is limited and political pressure is high.
What drives me is a belief that rigorous research can be a tool for protection and progress. At a time when trans health is under political attack, I aim to produce work that not only describes disparities, but informs action—whether through public policy, clinical practice, or community accountability.
I’m currently on the academic job market and seeking a tenure-track faculty position where I can continue this work, teach, and mentor the next generation of public health leaders. I’m especially excited about roles that allow me to partner with communities and policymakers to improve health systems from the inside out.
If you’re interested in collaboration, conversation, or hiring, I’d love to hear from you.
